The Eutech 868 MHz external antenna is an outdoor antenna for 868 MHz receivers. It comes with a wall bracket and a 3 m coaxial cable.
An external antenna is useful when the receiver is installed in a spot where the signal has trouble getting through, for example in a metal cabinet, behind a thick wall or deep inside the garage. By mounting the antenna higher and in a more open position, reception improves and so does the range of your remote controls.
The wall bracket makes it easy to mount the antenna on a wall. Connect the 3 m coaxial cable to the antenna terminal of an external receiver.
If your installation uses a built-in receiver, the antenna can also be connected directly to the motor or control unit, provided the manufacturer offers an antenna terminal for it. Please check this beforehand in the manual of your motor.
